Know the House of Awagarh
Kr. Bhumendrapal Singh
Kr. Bhumendrapal Singh was born on 5 February 1978 in Agra, into the royal house of Awagarh. He received his early education at The Daly College, Indore — one of India's premier boarding schools — and at St. John's College, Agra, before going on to complete a Master of Commerce and a further degree from Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University.
He now makes his base at Awagarh Farms on Fatehabad Road, Agra, where family tradition and present-day life meet.
The House of Awagarh is a historic Jadaun Rajput jagir in the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh, founded in 1701 by Thakur Chhatarbhuj Singh. Kr. Bhumendrapal Singh is a descendant of Raja Balwant Singh of Awagarh, the noted philanthropist who founded Raja Balwant Singh College in Agra and helped Rabindranath Tagore establish Shantiniketan.
Carrying that legacy forward, he curates IndiaRoyalFamilies.com, an ongoing archive of more than 200 articles documenting the history and traditions of the Jadaun Rajputs.
Blending heritage with technology, Kr. Bhumendrapal Singh leads Awaraj, a full-service digital marketing and web development studio conceptualised and managed under his direction.
That same instinct for storytelling — for combining a long-standing relationship with art and technology — carries through into his work behind the camera, captured across this gallery.
